What this website collects, and why
We collect the minimum needed to run this website and answer enquiries. Nothing on this page is a substitute for the final approved notice.

Information we collect
- Information you choose to send us in an enquiry or application form.
- Aggregate, privacy-respecting usage statistics such as page views and referrers.
- Your language preference, stored in your browser so the site remembers it.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not ask for national identity numbers through this website.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is retained only as long as needed to answer it and to meet public-record obligations. Recruitment information is retained for the duration of the recruitment process unless you ask us to remove it sooner.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to info@govtech.gov.lk.
